About Guatapé Explorer
Guatapé is one of the most popular day trips from Medellín. Our approach changes the scale: fewer people, a better pace and more time to understand what you are seeing.
The route combines scenery, culture, local food and the reservoir. You will visit a farm, discover El Peñol, cruise the lake and walk through Guatapé's colorful streets and zócalos. During the day you will complete the Guatapé Explorer Map, an activity designed to help you observe and connect the stops along the route.
